Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Browning butter instantly elevates the flavors of any baked good. To prove it, we’re sharing the most classic Tollhouse chocolate chip recipe and the only thing that’s updated is the butter. To brown your butter, put it in a small saucepan on low/medium heat. Stir frequently to ensure an even browning process. It will foam up and then begin to brown. Once it has taken on a light golden color, shut off the flame and let the residual heat finish the job.
