Maple Walnut Cookie Bars

These maple walnut cookie bars came about after realizing that we were out of chocolate chips! A couple of handfuls of walnuts and a swirl of maple saved the day. Cut these while they’re warm and leave them in the pan until they’re cool. Gluten-free baked goods tend to crumble easier; letting them cool before handling can help them be sturdier.
